Ordering the frame could not have been much easier. Another phone call, a deposit of 50% to put my name in queue, and Carl requested that if fill out the order form that you can find on the site. More about completing the measurements in the next part (5), but most of the order form was pretty simple.
You do go through the process of describing your desired frame in the order form, but really Carl is going to adjust this as you go through an interview process with him. More about that in part 6 (blueprint). At the end of the day, all you’re really doing is getting in a 14-18 week line and giving some preliminary specifications of what you THINK you want. My order form actually included more than I’ve posted below – all sorts of descriptions of current riding style, all my concerns, etc.
