Obviously there have been parties that have been integral to this project.
However, there have also been lots of unsung hero’s in my eyes. People who have given me great advice, contributed to the decision making process, or lended a hand.
- Tim at 2WheelerDealer bike shop. Tim was the guy who put in my headset since not everyone has the headset press and all the Chris King attachments needed. He also reamed out my seat tube when it was 1/100 of a millimeter too narrow for the seat post. This is a great shop with great mechanics, and knowledgeable staff. They have my trust for all the things I don’t do myself. I also bumped into Tim on PCH during my first Thanksgiving day ride. Just great to chat with and we both got to show off our work a little bit.
- Taliaferro Imports. My source for bike parts. While you can always get stuff cheaper from eBay or various places on the net, sourcing from Mel is the way I do it.
- Roadbikereview.com. The forum there is incredible. I’m also a contributor when I feel I have the expertise, and I’m glad that so many were willing to contribute whenever I had a question of my own.
